
THEMES STUDIED
Right in the heart of Silicon Valley, a mecca for computer innovation and e-business development, the University of San Diego welcomes the SMI students. They learn about the latest financial techniques used by American companies to cope with – obviously with success – market globalization.
The USA is also the cradle of Marketing. SMI students work on several case studies from Harvard Business School. In teams, they recreate through role-play, real scenarios of company life.
During the two months they spend at the SDSU, they follow courses in Marketing, Finance, American Corporate Law and participate in numerous company simulation games. Visiting American companies at the leading edge of Internet distribution and e-business allows them to understand aspects specific to this new method of sales and client relations.
