« We arrived in Hong Kong at night. It was a real light show. At the heart of the city, everything is lit up, the buildings, the neon advertising panels. The city is very warm and welcoming. At least in appearance.

The prevailing image of Hong Kong is appearance. What a shock to see so many beautiful cars in such a small space, you ask yourself if you are really in Asia. But can Hong Kong represent Asia as we imagine it? It feels like being in a different world: a near paradise.
When we saw some of the prices, we wondered how the people could afford to spend so much.
The people are much haughtier and proud than the people in Shanghai. It is not really a city to live in but a financial platform; it is swarming with people who are passing through to make money… »
